Only the smallest rays of sunshine filtered down through the trees that kept most light away. It was dark, and only a creature with a best night vision could see in it. The place smelled like blood, and it was cod from the lack of sun. Just the sight of this place could make any cat scared, or at the least freaked out. Everything was quiet. Nothing moved. Except, of course, the currently agitated silver she-cat stalking through the forest. She scowled as she stepped on a sharp twig. It had gone in enough to cause her to bleed a little, but it didn't hurt. She plucked it out swiftly and continued walking.
She seemed unfazed by how dark the forest was. Golden eyes scanned the area ahead of her, searching for anything edible. Like a mouse or something. Great Gods! Where the heck are the prey animals? She couldn't smell any either. They must have been in hiding. She shook her head. She would find something eventually, and maybe even a good fight if she was lucky; her claws were itching to tear into something.

Icy blue eyes gleamed as she watched the she cat padd in front of her... Stupid girl she thought to her self. The jet black she cat, who was perfectly camouflaged in the dark forest, sneaked up on the creed cat, and swipped its paws out from under her... With a hissy movement, Nikita moved back into cover and whispered, loud enough for the apprentice to hear..." Always pay attention to your surroundings...."

Kitsune gave a low growl as she tripped. She could have sworn she felt something watching her, but shrugged it off. Suddenly, something slammed into her pas, knocking her off of her feet. She fell and yelped in surprise. What the heck?! What had happened? She was sure that no one had been near! She snarled in anger and stood back up. "Is it time to play already?" she hissed back as she heard a low whisper. Fur bristling, she pulled her lips back, showing her gleaming white teeth. Golden eyes held a spark of rage in them at being sneaked up on.
She smelled the air around her, catching the faint scent of cat. Stupid scents won't help me fight it! She was getting more frustrated by the second. "Come out, come out where ever you are." she growled.

The was a moment of gut wrenching silence... Then a massacistic purr... " As you wish.." and she swipped the apprentice onto the floor once more but this time scoring a rank along Kitsune's side..." Never be to over confident... always know the strength you opponent has..." She hissed as she faded into the shadows once more...

The small she-cat only heard silence, then a dark purr. The words made her shiver involuntarily, and once again, she was swept off of her paws. Hitting the ground made her grunt, but almost immediately she jumped back up. Smirking, she whispered darkly to her adversary, "I don't see why you're talking as if you are better than me, when you're hiding in the shadows. If I didn't know any better, I would say you were afraid." She was trying to annoy the other cat, but it was most likely not going to work. Or maybe it would. She flicked her tail absentmindedly. "So, are you?" she asked, her voice barely above the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves.
She paused in though, wondering how she could get the cat to come out. Blindly lashing out wouldn't work, and neither would trying to find it in the shadows. She crouched, waiting for the cat to attack her again, so maybe this time she could be ready.

A violent hiss rang through the forest. Nikita had bolted, and she held the cat's scruff tightly in her jaws, the black she cat flung the apprentice into a tree. " I am better than you... and more deadly than you will ever be.. and dont be so sure little kitsune... you will be the one afraid when I actually fight you...This is but a mere lesson..."

When Kitsune felt teeth around her scruff, she let out a snarl and tried to claw her attacker. Unfortunately, she was flung into a tree, and her back hit the hard wood, causing a pain filled gasp to escape her throat. As her body touched the ground, she coughed quietly, and looked up at her attacker. It was a black she-cat, better known as Nikita. "Lesson?" she asked. She didn't remember talking about a lesson. She tilted her head. Maybe I forgot... She sat up, and licked her ruffled fur as if she hadn't been thrown like a rag doll across the forest. It made her ears burn with embarrassment at the thought.

Nikita, frowned, her voice ice cold..." This is only the beginning my young apprentice... You better get use to it... And get better other wise you'll never became a creed warrior, you understand that ..." She sat on her haunches and waited for Kitsune to finish what she was doing, her tail twitching, impatiently.

"So, you're going to train me? I was wondering when they would get me a mentor!" she blurted out. She quit licking her fur and looked up. Giving Nikita a slight smile, and unsheathed her claws and took a swipe at the older cat, missing her deliberately. She purred darkly. "I hope you can train me well then."

Nikita stood there not moving when the she cat slashed at her. " If you want me to train you.. than you have to get ride of that kittypet personality..." She hisses and stood on her paws once more..." Close you eyes, and close them tight." She instructed, and waited for kitsune to do so...

"Kittypet attitude?! As if!" she snorted, rolling her eyes before slowly closing them as she was told to. Her tail twitched in irritation at the insult, and she longed to lash out at the cat. What were they going to do? Fighting most likely, but there was a chance of them doing something else too. She hated waiting, and hoped that she would find out what they were doing sooner.

Nikita smiled and chuckled, and the laugh was evil. Stupid girl Nikita walked into the shadows..." Now open you eyes... and try to find me..." She said speaking as she sat on a branch in a pine tree...

Kitsune sighed and opened her mouth to take in the scent of the cat near her. Eyes still closed, she took an uncertain step forward, trying to find her new mentor. She felt like she was getting closer, but she wasn't too sure.

Nikita leaped silently to the next branch, not a sound was made..." Try to find me Kitsune..." She whispered like a cat telling a prophecy.

Kitsune hissed in annoyance. "Whatever you say." she hissed, moving onto another area. Tail lashing, she sniffed the air again, trying to follow the scent to its source. Which would be Nikita.
