Stripes cover his eyes for he doesn't know the world as it is but as what he has seen. He believes in a better future for his Clan everyday, with every patrol and fresh kill that comes he is there waiting to help, to hear the new news. Nothing will stop his tiny paws from bursting from the fires that pull him down, not even death.

He was born with no brothers or sister, or so he thinks, to the she-cat Lady and an unknown tom. Duckkit has never actually known his birth mother nor does he even know he was born on the outskirts of SkyClan. To him he believes his mother is the she-cat Lavenderheart and his father the deputy. No one else but his mother and Briarstar knows that he is not of SkyClan, not even him and they seem to keep it a secret very well. All he wants is to be like his father and grow to be a strong loyal warrior and maybe one day serve his Clan as deputy.
