It seems to be a cute idea to like him but he would soon as kill you as you did that. He is cruel and ruthless, flawed with savage fun killing. Caring about you or anyone is his character flaw and greatest fighting technique. With a motion he would rather kill you than leave you lying there.

When he was young his parents tried to run from the Creed but were killed in the process, well his foolish father (Hawk) while his mother (Larklilly). He was raised to believe them traitors and he did, thinking his brother (Dark) dirt because he got away. His siblings and him trained hard but he trained the hardest to kill. There was nothing he cared for so when he became an apprentice he was a perfect murderer.
Apprentice;
As an apprentice he started a new goal, become beta of the Creed; well, more over he was killing to be Alpha one day. Within short time he made it to be a warrior, already trapping many cats and bringing them to Creed.
Warrior/Med Cat/MCA;
Even as a young warrior he was feirce. In the beginning of his time as warrior he took a fighting force to SkyClan territory where he met his mother. No words were given and he killed her without mercy. His brother burst from the bushes and he gave the signal for the ambush. They stood, entrancing him and when one other warrior looked and gave him the look of, "Recruit?" Shard simply grinned and shook his head. Right as they were about to attack Briarstar came from the bushes with a large number of fighters. They stood and fought and many ambushed Briarstar, taking one of his lives but then the leader rose and killed a close friend of Shards. Shard was angered but they were falling back so he decided to save his own tail. When he returned he told of his kill and all the important cats were pleased. From there out he pleased them, even by killing his own sister who had gotten greencough.
One night he was walking and he heard Marsh, the healer, praying to StarClan. He attacked and pinned the older tom down, "I will kill you."
Marsh simply starred in fear, "I am still a liability!"
Shard jumped off and simply hissed back, "That's why I'm making you wait, when you aren't a liability you will be dead."
