Blackstar ran from the camp and headed slightly north. After a short run he came upon a very earth spot. Moss was everywhere and fallen twigs lay all around. There were also bushes with vines that would help make good protection. Gathering up as much moss, twigs, and bush vines as he could, he waited for Firewalker to do the same.

Firewalker did so also, tucking a wadd of twigs and vine rolled in moss under his chin, and gathering another in his mouth. He began to head back to camp, and as he did so lightning struck a tree of in the distance but the hissing rain put out the small flame that had burst though the tree colasped with a loud roar." Quickly Blackstar, the storm is getting more dangerous..."

Blackstar became worried as he saw the lightning strike the tree, then the tree fall. "I know, Firewalker! Keep your mind on on the objective!" The second they hit camp, Blackstar set out on patching up any holes in the covers of their burrow dens to make sure no water got in. Some holes were bad and he ended up having to go back for more moss. He hoped Firewalker would follow in case something happened.
As he ran back with more supplies, the tree ahead of him was struck and began to fall right where he was going to run. Digging his claws into the earth he tried to stop, but the ground was already too muddy, and he kept sliding forward. As the tree fell, he lunged, hoping to make it, but the tree fell too fast and he collided with it's side, barreling over it and landing in the mud on the other side. As he hit the earth, he blacked out.

Firewalker handed the supplies to another warrior as he passed." Take these a succure the holes!" He had a bad fealing just now lurch in his stomach as he raced after his leader then he saw the tree.." No...Blackstar!!" He sniffed the edges of the tree on his side and could not scent his leader under it. The white tom bounded over the tree in a single leap and there he saw his leader." Blackstar!!" He shook him trying to wake him up..."Blackstar!!"

Blackstar lay there, motionless as the rain beat down on him. His fur covered in mud from the impact. Would anyone find him? Would they even notice him gone?
He could hear Firewalker calling his name, but it sounded so far away, almost as if he were emerged underwater. The blackness called to him, louder than his warrior, but he fought away, not wanting to succumb to it yet. The blackness got quieter and quieter.
Blackstar opened his eyes to the warrior, his head and back aching with pain. Every muscle in his body screamed as he forced himself to stand. He looked at his warrior, knowing he was worried. "Do not worry, Firewalker, I did not lose a life this time." He mewed, but his voice was weak and strained with pain. He would be spending the night in the Medicine Cat's den.

Firewalker took in a deap breath and nodded. The warrior closed his eyes and calmed him self, changing his voice from concerned to determined." Come, lets go home for now. The holes are prepared and we just need to sit out this storm." He gave his leader his shoulder to lean on waited for Blackstar to step first.

Blackstar nodded in agreement with Firewalker and used his shoulder to lean on. Going as quickly as possible, he limped to camp. "I will be staying in the medicine cat's den tonight." Before going to the den, he pulled some kill he had left in his den, then limped to the Medicine cat's den. "Firewalker, thank you for coming to get me, but now you need sleep as well. However, you will not be in the warriors den. Will you stay in the nursery tonight to make sure noting happens to the kits and the mothers? I have placed Blackheart in the Apprentice den already."

Firewalker nodded." Ofcorce. Sleep well Blackstar." He said with a respecful dip of the head, and padded of to the nursery, checking on all the queens to make sure they were safe before he lay on a patch of moss near the front of the den. " No cat will sneek by me in the middle of the night."he whispered to himself and closed his eyes.

Blackblood watched the warrior leave then the Medicine cat come in. When he was treated he closed his eyes and slept his way through the storm.
